by Meg Cabot
In Meg Cabot's sequel to her young adult book Airhead, Emerson Watts struggles to live the life of a teenage supermodel. She's no longer allowed to be herself, see much of her family, or even go by her real name.
In the first book we were introduced to the Stark Corporation, which produces a chain of Megastores where you can buy just about anything you need. Em Watts, now under the pretense of being supermodel Nikki Howard, is the face of Stark. This is not the life that she wants but a.) Stark saved her life, and b.) if she doesn't do exactly what they say, they'll have her parents thrown in jail.
Em is trying very hard to juggle relationships with her old friends and family as well as Nikki's. This becomes very complicated and confusing and Em finally realizes that there is something very mysterious going on with the Stark Corporation and she is right in the middle of it.
This builds up to a very surprising, suspenseful end that leaves the reader desperate to find out what will happen next.

Sounds great! Will there be more in the series?
Yes, the third one will be called Runaway. I haven't been able to find a scheduled publication date for that though.
