Written in 1910 this is a classic tale of horror, suspense, and romance. The Paris Opera House is plagued with presence of a Phantom. The opera house finds that there are grim consequences when they do not follow his instructions.
The Phantom has chosen young Christine Daae as his personal student, giving her singing lessons in secret. At the same time, Raoul, a young viscount, has fallen in love with Christine and is trying to figure out why she is acting so strangely. As the story progresses, tension builds until it reaches it’s boiling point.
Tragic, terrifying, and romantic – this is a quick read.
