This one was a surprise! The story involves the detecting duo of Bernie and his dog Chet. But the story unfolds through the eyes of the dog. I know, this has been done before - but never so cleverly and so well. The author really understands the nature of dogs. Chet has no super powers only a burning loyalty to his beloved Bernie. Together they take on the case of a missing teenager and are threatened by some Russian thugs. With plenty of humor and excitement this book is for dog lovers and mystery lovers alike. Watch for the sequel!

Read this book based on the suggestion and it was really cute! REad it in one day--loved the dog! He was so true to doggy instincts and loyalties!
