Blue Smoke and Murder by Lowell

Jill Breck is a strong independent woman who works as a river guide. When she saves Lane Faroe's life, Lane's father tells her to call him anytime she meeds help. After her great aunt dies, she returns to the ranch where she grew up, only to find herself involved in threats to her life. So she calls St. Kilda Consulting (Faroe's business) and is given the help of an expert bodyguard, Zach Balfour. The Western Art circuit is more dangerous than navigating the river rapids and as the suspense builds, Jill comes to appreciate Zach's strengths. Suspense, danger and romance combine to make a light, enjoyable read.
